Frequently Asked Questions

How can I make an appointment with DryKids®?
You can contact us directly via info@drykids.com.tr or call us at +90 532 675 71 33. Our clinic coordinator Yasemin Tozlu will assist you in scheduling your appointment.
What age group does DryKids® serve?
DryKids® provides services to all children aged 0-18 and individuals with urological problems stemming from childhood.
How is it decided whether to use medication or pelvic floor rehabilitation for bladder and bowel problems?
In some urological problems, pelvic floor rehabilitation combined with medication can enhance treatment success. After evaluations by our pediatric urologist and pelvic floor physiotherapist, the most suitable treatment plan will be determined by the DryKids® team.
Can patients from outside the city receive consultations from DryKids®?
Yes, we serve patients and clients from outside the city and country. If pelvic floor rehabilitation is recommended, you may stay in Istanbul for 7–10 days and start treatment sessions accordingly.
What will be the frequency of follow-ups after treatment?
The frequency of your follow-up appointments or sessions will be determined by our doctor and physiotherapist based on the severity and chronicity of your child's condition.
Will the symptoms return after treatment?
One of the main concerns of families is the recurrence of symptoms after treatment. If medication is prescribed and taken regularly as directed, relapses are rare. Combining medication with pelvic floor rehabilitation can further reduce the risk of recurrence.
How many pelvic floor sessions will be needed and how often?
The number of pelvic floor rehabilitation sessions varies depending on the severity of symptoms and the child’s and family’s compliance. Based on our experience, successful outcomes are typically achieved in 10–15 sessions, though this may vary.
Who conducts the pelvic floor rehabilitation sessions?
The sessions are conducted by our experienced physiotherapists who graduated from the Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, such as Specialist Physiotherapist Aygül Köseoğlu Kurt.
